Tom Borges Named GM of Kahana Sunset on Maui
PARK CITY, UT, August 24, 2006. Premier Resorts, the Park City, Utah-based resort property management company located in eight states plus Mexico, has appointed Tom Borges as General Manager of the Kahana Sunset resort on Maui. He replaces former General Manager Leanna Roberts who transferred to Premier Resorts' Manor Vail property in Colorado.
Borges, 46, has over 25 years experience in the hospitality/resort industry and is a native of Hawaii. He was most recently employed as the Director of Owner Relations for The Kapalua Villas. Prior to that he worked for Hyatt, Colony Hotels and Resorts, Aston, Outrigger and KSL. He is active in the Knights of Columbus, St. Anthony High School Scholarships, American Cancer Society, Wailuku Businessmen, and 40-and-Over League basketball on Maui.
A graduate of the University of Hawaii, Borges is married with five children and two grandsons. A poker aficionado, he also enjoys the outdoors - playing golf, tennis, basketball and surfing when he can.
