Taylor Hart Named General Manager for Balfour Miami Beach
Balfour Miami Beach, now a Registry Collection hotel located in South Beach's South of Fifth neighborhood, announces the appointment of Taylor Hart as general manager. Hart brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to the iconic boutique property, joining the team at a pivotal moment as Balfour begins a new chapter as a Registry Collection Hotel.
Hart began his career as a bellman at the Louisville Marriott Downtown, gaining front-line experience that continues to shape his empathetic, team-focused leadership today. Most recently, as assistant general manager at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, he improved guest satisfaction, strengthened cross-departmental collaboration and successfully led multiple brand audits within a short timeframe. Throughout his career, Hart has played a key role in elevating property performance and delivering measurable improvements in service and revenue performance.
At Balfour Miami Beach, Hart will oversee all daily operations with a focus on building a collaborative, accountable team culture while delivering elevated guest experiences. His priorities include operational consistency, proactive service, leadership development and ensuring the hotel remains a true reflection of the South of Fifth neighborhood's community-driven spirit.
"Taylor's commitment to leading from the floor makes him an ideal fit for Balfour Miami Beach," said Andrew Stegen, executive vice president of operations at FullG Capital Investments, the hotel's ownership group. "His expertise and focus on people will be instrumental as we continue to grow the property's reputation as one of Miami Beach's premier boutique hotels."
Under Hart's leadership, Balfour Miami Beach aims to further establish itself as the boutique hotel of choice in the South of Fifth neighborhood, defined by exceptional service and a strong community presence.
