Hilton Arcadia Los Angeles Introduces its Opening Leadership Team

Hilton (NYSE: HLT) announces the appointment of Luis Plascencia as General Manager and Nayiri Ozbardakci as Director of Sales & Marketing for the newly opened Hilton Arcadia Los Angeles, establishing the hotel's leadership team.

Together, Plascencia and Ozbardakci bring more than 40 years of combined hospitality experience across operations, marketing strategy and pre-opening leadership.In their roles, Plascencia and Ozbardakci will oversee the hotel's launch, guide day-to-day operations, and drive the property's performance as it establishes itself as the newest full-service Hilton in the San Gabriel Valley.

A seasoned leader with more than 25 years of general manager experience, Plascencia most recently served as General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Monterey Park, where he oversaw $20M in annual revenue and achieved significant year-over-year gains in both rooms and food & beverage performance. Prior to that, he held leadership roles across Southern California, including General Manager of Embassy Suites by Hilton Arcadia-Pasadena, where he earned Hilton's Highest Growth Index Award and the CEO of Sales Award, as well as General Manager positions at DoubleTree by Hilton Santa Ana and DoubleTree by Hilton Irvine Spectrum. Plascencia is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and a graduate of Hilton's Circle of Excellence leadership program.

Ozbardakci brings 17 years of global hospitality sales and marketing experience, most recently serving as Director of Sales & Marketing at Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles-Monterey Park, where she led strategic sales initiatives, mentored a high-performing team, and consistently exceeded revenue targets. Prior to that, she held senior sales roles at Embassy Suites by Hilton Arcadia-Pasadena and at Crescent Hotels & Resorts, overseeing group, corporate, and leisure sales across multiple properties. Highly skilled in pre-opening strategy, revenue development, and team leadership, she achieved 141% of her annual sales goal in 2023 and 166% in 2024. Ozbardakci is fluent in English, Armenian, and Turkish and is deeply connected within the San Gabriel Valley business community.

Together, Plascencia and Ozbardakci will lead Hilton Arcadia Los Angeles through its debut year, steering operations, sales, marketing, and community engagement as the hotel enters the market.
