Distinguished for her deep expertise in luxury hospitality, Gilbert brings over three decades of leadership, vision, and passion for service to her new role, where she is responsible for shepherding the resort into a new era of refined modernity as the property transitions into a St. Regis flagship in 2027. Dedicated to honoring the Resort's renowned legacy, Gilbert's new appointment will ensure the resort experience reflects the highest standard of world-class hospitality with a culture rooted in excellence, trust, and communication.
A champion of dynamic team culture, Gilbert joins the resort's accomplished female leadership team and serves as one of four women on its senior leadership team. Guided by a "people-first" philosophy, she inspires collaboration, morale, and exceptional guest experiences.
With an extensive background and comprehensive operational expertise, Gilbert's accomplished career in sales and marketing includes overseeing notable properties within The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott portfolio, contributing to the brand's landmark openings including Half Moon Bay and Denver, as well as the repositioning of Laguna Niguel. Additional notable hospitality experiences include serving as Hotel Manager at two of L.A.'s most dynamic and event-driven properties: The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles and the JW Marriott Los Angeles, L.A. LIVE, where her operational expertise, leading with poise and precision in a high-energy, large-scale environment, reaffirming her belief that hospitality thrives through collaboration, empowerment, and shared commitment to excellence. Gilbert currently serves on the boards of Visit Greater Palm Springs and California State University San Bernardino, Palm Desert Campus.
