Holston House Expands Leadership Team With New Sales & Marketing and Food & Beverage Hires
Holston House, a 191-room boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Nashville, Tenn., announced the expansion of their executive leadership team with the additions of Jeff Gillick as Director of Sales & Marketing and Colby Mitchell as Director of Food & Beverage. These appointments mark the hotel's growth on the heels of its fourth anniversary.
As Director of Sales & Marketing, Gillick is responsible for orchestrating strategic sales and marketing efforts of the hotel, while driving strong sales with a focus on leisure and small groups. An industry veteran, Gillick brings more than two decades of hospitality experience to the leadership team. Prior to joining Holston House, Gillick served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Bobby Hotel Nashville, where he oversaw the hotel's sales and marketing efforts since its 2018 opening. Additionally, Gillick served in sales and marketing roles with Langham Huntington Pasadena, Santa Barbara's Bacara Resort and Spa and The Boulders Resort in Carefree, Arizona. Gillick received his Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Alongside Gillick, Holston House appointed Colby Mitchell as the Director of Food & Beverage. In this role, Mitchell leads the culinary teams at the boutique hotel's signature restaurant TENN, historically-inspired cocktail bar Bar TENN and rooftop bar TENN on Top to create memorable and innovative culinary experiences for the hotel's guests and Nashville locals. With over 13 years of culinary experience, Mitchell brings an international perspective to his position at Holston House. Before joining the team, Mitchell worked around the world with international brands, including Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-La and Marriott in properties in Dubai, the Philippines and China. He received his Bachelor of Science in International Hotel and Tourism Management from Johnson & Wales University.
In their positions, Gillick and Mitchell will also play vital roles in opening Holston House's highly anticipated rooftop boozy tea service, set to launch in late 2021.
"We are thrilled to welcome Jeff and Colby to Holston House's executive team. I look forward to working closely with both to give our guests the elevated, immersive Nashville experience that has become synonymous with Holston House," said Shannon Foster, Area Vice President and General Manager at Holston House.
