Fairmont Appoints Lori Holland Executive Director PR

TORONTO, Canada, April 24, 2007. Holland, who most recently served as Fairmont's Director, Public Relations, will now have complete responsibility for the communications strategies and media relations efforts for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts worldwide.

Adding to her role, Holland will actively support Fairmont's brand management tactics, specifically the awareness and understanding of the Fairmont brand, through the development and execution of a fully integrated public relations platform.

Holland will also direct Fairmont's social responsibility initiatives and manage the brand's crisis communications response, while providing guidance and leadership to Fairmont's Corporate and hotel public relations teams.

With an extensive public relations background in travel and tourism, Holland first joined Fairmont in 2001. Prior to this, she served at several prominent public relations agencies in New York City where she represented clients such as Intercontinental Hotels, Atlantis Resort, Bermuda Department of Tourism and the Interoceanic Regional Authority.
