Mark Hemmer Named VPO at Vesta
VANCOUVER, WA, January 24, 2007. Mark Hemmer, CHA, has joined hotel development and management company Vesta Hospitality, LLC, as the company's vice president of operations. Richard E. Takach, president and CEO of Vesta Hospitality, made the announcement.
As vice president of operations, Hemmer will be responsible for the overall daily operations of all properties in the company's managed hotel portfolio. Specific areas of focus in Hemmer's role include revenue generation; service levels assurance; profitability, and associate retention and training.
Prior to joining Vesta Hospitality, Hemmer served as regional director of operations for the Chicago-based First Hospitality Group. While there, he was responsible for the overall operation of 15 hotels based in the Midwest.
A resident of Plainfield, Ill., Hemmer earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Almeda University.
