Olshan Properties Breaks Ground on New Aloft Hotel at Easton Town Center, Columbus, Ohio
Olshan Properties, one of the country's leading private owners, developers and operators of commercial real estate, today announced that it has broken ground on a new, 136-key Aloft Hotel at Easton Town Center located in Columbus, OH. The new Aloft will become Olshan's fourth hotel at Easton and part of the company's large national hotel portfolio.
The Aloft, which is expected to open spring 2020, is owned in partnership with L Brands and The Georgetown Company. Once completed, the Aloft will become a centerpiece of the $500 million expansion that is underway at the Easton Town Center, one of the country's premier shopping, dining, and entertainment destinations.
A Marriott-flagged, upscale business boutique hotel, Aloft is recognized for its distinctive modern design, innovative, accessible technology and unique focus on music, food and beverage that combines luxury with affordability. The first Aloft hotel opened in 2008, and the hotel chain has since expanded throughout the United States with 121 locations as of summer 2019.
Olshan's new Aloft will feature a 7,500 square-foot, chef-driven restaurant concept. Additional hotel amenities will include a state of the art fitness center, swimming pool and designated event and meeting space.
