The St. Regis Deer Valley to Undergo Multi-Million Dollar Renovation
The St. Regis Deer Valley, the award-winning mountain retreat located on the slopes of the Wasatch Mountains in Park City, will undergo a multi-million dollar refurbishment project that will begin in early October and finish in mid-December ahead of ski season. The re-imagination of the luxury hotel is inspired by the historical, physical and social aspects of the surrounding area, evoking a sense of place while incorporating state-of-the-art design elements. The hotel will remain open during the renovations.
"We are so excited for this project and to offer our guests a refreshed and revitalized experience that will take the hotel to an even higher level," said Brandon Hendricks, director of sales & marketing. "Thanks to the brilliant work of our designers, project managers and hotel staff, guests can rest assured that there will be minimal disruption during this process."
Los Angeles-based Linda Snyder Associates, the team behind the interior re-design, pulled inspiration from Park City's rich entrepreneurial history, incorporating elements from its first industrial boom to the stylish beginnings of the area's ski industry. Touches of precious metals will pay homage to the area's silver mining history while luxe materials will showcase Deer Valley's glamorous legacy as the height of slope side elegance. Design elements such as specialty lighting fixtures that channel the light's reflection on snow, combined with a color board that features rich and rugged hues conjure images of the area's natural surroundings.
Partnering with local and regional artists and craftsmen, the project will blend fashion, form and function for a truly breathtaking experience. The combination of light, texture, and a wide range of materials and color will channel Park City's spirit and allow visitors to experience the freedom of the mountains while elevating the brand's luxury standards.
