Lido House, an Autograph Collection hotel, today announced a March 2018 opening. Nearing completion in Newport Beach, the resort is a stylish celebration of Southern California's coastal lifestyle, delivering the ultimate, authentic beach house retreat.
A legacy project by local developer Robert D. Olson, Lido House is set on the site of the former City Hall and pays homage to the historic landmark. The 130-guest room resort set on 100,000 square feet, is just steps away from Lido Marina Village, the city's marina, retail and dining hub. With its innovative culinary offerings and design features, Lido House will elevate the neighborhood's standing a must visit destination.
With interior design by the EDG team, the property will come to life with an effortless sense of style and reflects a welcoming beach house vibe, reminiscent of Robert Olson's own Newport Beach home. Truly embracing the home away from home concept, Lido House features five residential-style, three-level cottages spanning 1,300 square feet, including a rooftop patio, personal BBQ and fireplace. Each of the one-of-a-kind cottages feature a distinct and authentic design motif created by a different local designer: Grace Blu Design, Jennifer Mehditash Design, Brooke Wagner Designer, Erica Bryen Design and Blackband Design.

Culinary: Set to serve as Newport Beach's new culinary hot spot, Lido House will offer a variety of distinct dining options to satisfy every craving and occasion. Mayor's Table, the hotel's signature restaurant, honor's the sites City Hall roots and manifests a gastro pub-style vibe, offering inventive cocktails and seafood oriented fare including a raw bar, chef's table and open action kitchen. Topside will serve as Lido House's captivating rooftop bar - and the only rooftop bar in Newport Beach - with a playful yet chic scene featuring festive Champagne pairings, fine wines, cocktails and local brews. Crew Coffee + Cremerie offers up curated blends of coffee and classic ice creams, made with ingredients from around the globe and served up with a decadent twist.
Meetings and Events: Lido House will feature spaces and services for the most iconic Newport Beach celebrations - from weddings to corporate events - with 15,000 square feet of indoor / outdoor meeting and event space. An elegant ballroom is the center piece of 4,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, which also features a pre-function space and an executive board room. Three event lawns spanning a total of 11,000 square feet offer the ideal setting for many occasions, from intimate receptions to grand celebrations up to 500 guests.
Wellness: The ocean-inspired Boost Spa will be designed with optimal energy in mind. With four tranquil treatment rooms the spa will offer an array of botanically oriented treatments created to reinvigorate the mind and body. The 1,500-square foot spa includes a co-ed relaxation lounge, a retail boutique and a naturally-lit fitness facility with CrossFit style equipment.
