HOTEL EXECUTIVE

Stephen F. Bollenbach to Receive ALIS Lifetime Award

. October 14, 2008

SEPTEMBER 7, 2007. Stephen F. Bollenbach, co-chairman and CEO of Hilton Hotels, will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS), January 28-30, 2008, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, Calif. Bollenbach will receive the prestigious award in recognition of his remarkable accomplishments in the lodging industry and across the spectrum of business, as well as his dedication and service to the community.

Bollenbach is one of the hotel industry's most respected and successful leaders. Since joining Hilton, Bollenbach has overseen a complete transformation of the company, including the acquisition of Bally Entertainment, which made Hilton the world's largest gaming company, and the acquisition of $1.5 billion of hotel real estate in markets with high barriers to entry. He also spun off Hilton's gaming operations in a tax-free transaction to shareholders to form Park Place Entertainment (formerly Caesars Entertainment, Inc., now Harrah's Entertainment, Inc.) and acquired Promus Hotel Corporation. The Promus acquisition added 1,400 hotels and several well-known hospitality brands including Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hampton, and Homewood Suites by Hilton to Hilton's portfolio of outstanding properties. In 2006, the company acquired the lodging assets of Hilton Group, plc, reuniting the Hilton brand for the first time in more than 40 years and making Hilton Hotels Corporation the world's largest hotel company.

Before joining Hilton, Bollenbach's accomplishments included execution of The Walt Disney Company's acquisition of Capital Cities/ABC, an innovative restructuring of the Marriott Corporation resulting in two companies - Host Marriott and Marriott International, and a distinguished history of successes in the financial arena with banks, investment businesses, and the Trump Organization.

Co-hosted by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) and the Burba Hotel Network (BHN), the two-and-a-half-day event features an extensive array of seminars and panels hosted by leading experts and investors discussing important trends and identifying new opportunities. The conference attracts the lodging industry's leading hotel executives, investors, lenders, developers and professional advisory community. Proceeds from ALIS will benefit the educational, research, and training missions of the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation, AH&LA's not-for-profit affiliate.

Online registration is available now via the ALIS Website, www.ALISconference.com. An early registration discount of $150 is available through September 28, 2007. For general event information and sponsorship opportunities, contact Jonathon Zink, BHN conference manager, at (714) 540-9300 or jzink@burba.com or visit the ALIS Website at www.ALISconference.com.
