NEW YORK, NY, July 19, 2005 - This Fall, W Hotels Worldwide will partner with style icon Diane von Furstenberg to make traveling fashion emergencies a thing of the past. Kicking off a multi-tiered partnership in September, including the creation of exclusive DVF beauty and fashion "emergency kits" for W guest rooms and retail stores, W and DVF will be the first to put an authentic design spin on hotel amenities.

o Beginning with the "Emergency Survival Kit", a boxed set of mini lip glosses in Water (clear), Punch (shimmery pink) and Naked (shimmery beige), mascara and perfume - all from Diane von Furstenberg's signature cosmetics line - guests will never have to venture out of their room before putting their best face forward. Conveniently packaged within W hotel's in-room "Munchie box" (aka minibar), the "Emergency Survival Kit" is glamour on the go.

o With the "Emergency Fashion Kit", featuring DVF's classic black wrap dress with matching thong, W guests will never be without a thing to wear. The "Emergency Fashion Kit", packaged in a customized W Hotel's/DVF garment bag, will make its debut at W Hotels the Store, W's retail boutiques located within New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Diego properties. In addition to W Stores and online at whotelsthestore.com, the fashion kit will also be available through Whatever/Whenever, W's 24 hour concierge service, at W Times Square and W Los Angeles.

o The "Wonder Woman" weekend package will be another fashionable component of the partnership. Inspired by extraordinary professional and talented women such as Diane von Furstenberg, a true wonder woman in her own right, the "Wonder Woman" package will offer guests a special room rate, an "Emergency Survival Kit", a copy of "DVF The Wrap" and a DVF silk eye mask. Cocktails for two in W's Living Room, the hotel's central gathering space, will also be provided.

o W's innovative series of lifestyle events called W Happenings will also incorporate the relationship with DVF. Through these events, guests in New York and Los Angeles will be given a once in a lifetime opportunity to spend an evening with Diane von Furstenberg herself - sipping cocktails and hearing about how her legendary design empire was built.
