Saddlebrook Equity and Management ("Saddlebrook"), the Doggett Family Office, announced the strategic acquisition of the St. Regis Houston. Situated at the entrance of the River Oaks neighborhood, the property is set to undergo a comprehensive evolution to reclaim its status as Houston's premier business and luxury destination.

Upon acquisition, the property will be renamed The Houston Grand Hotel - River Oaks. Following an expansive, top-to-bottom renovation of all guest rooms, public spaces, and culinary venues, the hotel will relaunch as a flagship member of The Luxury Collection, maintaining a global affiliation with Marriott's premier reservation system.

A Legacy Restored. Since its debut in 1982, the property at 1919 Briar Oaks Lane at San Felipe has served as a cornerstone of Houston's social and professional fabric. For Leslie and Ann Doggett, the acquisition is deeply personal; the couple spent their wedding night at the hotel in 1984.

HEI Hotels & Resorts has contracted with Saddlebrook to assume management of the hotel. HEI is a leading hospitality investment and management company that operates more than 100 luxury, upper-upscale, and upscale independent and branded hotels and resorts throughout the United States.
