Noble House Hotels & Resorts Appoints Kevin Geanides as General Manager of Little Palm Island Resort & Spa

USA, Seattle, Washington. April 09, 2020

Noble House Hotels & Resorts, a collection of luxury hotels and resorts, proudly announces the appointment of Kevin Geanides as general manager at Little Palm Island Resort & Spa, located on a four-acre private island off the fabled coastline of the Florida Keys. In this role, Kevin will be responsible for managing the resort's day-to-day success, sales and marketing, food and beverage, as well as budget, maintaining a focus on strategic goals and overseeing all operational aspects for the ultra-luxe resort, which re-opened after a two-year closure on March 1, 2020.

Geanides rejoins Little Palm Island, where he previously served as resort manager, with more than 20 years of experience - in every facet of the industry, from kitchen and front-of-house, to management - at some of the country's most notable names in boutique properties, including Timbers Resorts; Private Residences & Club on the island of Kauai in Hawaii; Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, Calif.; Sonesta Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach, Fla.; The Setai in South Beach, Fla.; Turnberry Isle Resort & Club in Miami; and Hotel Plaza Athénée in New York City.

"Kevin's expertise in luxury hospitality and leadership, combined with his personal commitment to excellence, will be instrumental in the success of Little Palm Island's reopening," said Matt Trahan, VP & Managing Director of Florida for Noble House Hotels & Resorts. "In addition to his former tenure here, his strong knowledge of the marketplace and competitive landscape made him the ideal choice for this position."

In his most recent role as general manager of Timbers Resorts, Geanides was responsible for overseeing operations for the 460-acre, 141-bed oceanfront golf resort, developing standards of service and generating additional lines for revenue. Prior to Timbers, he was general manager at Post Ranch Inn, overseeing daily operations and earning the inn the #1 spot on the Andrew Harper Hideaway Report in 2018. Previously, Geanides held the role of resort manager at Little Palm Island after being promoted from Director of Food & Beverage.

A best-kept secret for U.S. presidents and celebrities, Little Palm Island Resort & Spa is located on a lush, private island amid verdant tropical foliage. Each of the 30 redesigned thatched-roof suites offer vibrant ocean views and plush, all-new interiors. A new world-class spa features a two-story atrium with carved architectural details and a handcrafted tile fountain. The renowned Dining Room has been enhanced to encompass sweeping views of the ocean and combines with a guest favorite, The Monkey Hut lounge. Private cabanas have been added to the oceanfront pool area and the well-loved Palapa Bar will be returning as well. Crushed seashell paths wind through this four-acre paradise, allowing guests the chance to see countless species of birds, endangered Key deer and even bright green iguanas and playful dolphins. Many exclusive activities are available, from seaplane tours to reef snorkels.
