BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, Names Eric Gavin Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing

BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has appointed Eric Gavin senior vice president sales & marketing.  This marks a return to Benchmark for Mr. Gavin.  Ted Davis, chief sales and marketing officer, made the announcement on behalf of the company.

A seasoned sales and marketing hospitality executive with nearly 20 years of exemplary senior-level leadership experience, Eric Gavin returns to Benchmark following serving as chief marketing officer for Salamander Hotels & Resorts.  His most recent position with Benchmark was as regional vice president sales and marketing, where he successfully led the sales operations for properties throughout Florida, California, Tennessee and the Caribbean.

Prior to joining Benchmark the first time, Mr. Gavin served as vice president of marketing for Noble House Hotels & Resorts, developing marketing and branding strategies across the portfolio.

Eric Gavin attended the University of South Carolina - Aiken.  He and his family are relocating to The Woodlands.
