Noble House Hotels & Resorts Names Lou Cirelli Director of Sales for Kona Kai Resort & Spa
Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Ltd., a hotel ownership and management group with an upscale portfolio of 15 distinct and visually captivating properties spanning the U.S., today announced the appointment of Lou Cirelli as Director of Sales for Kona Kai Resort & Spa, the hotel group's legendary property located on the tip of Shelter Island in San Diego. An award-winning Noble House veteran with a successful track record for increasing sales, Cirelli will leverage his extensive Southern California expertise to drive sales and boost visibility for the historic San Diego resort.
“We're delighted to bring one of our own over to the Kona Kai team,” said Founder & Chairman of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Pat Colee. “With his background and success at our Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa property, Lou has a deep understanding of this market and how to position our brands. He is uniquely suited to build upon the successful Kona Kai property and elevate the resort's visibility.”
Before joining Kona Kai Resort & Spa, Cirelli was National Sales Manager at the Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa, a Noble House property on Mission Bay, where he was awarded 2017 Site Experience Sales Manager of the Year from the San Diego Tourism Authority. He developed comprehensive marketing strategies to drive sales, including the innovative “Site Experience” program that differentiated the resort from other San Diego properties; and partnerships with major third parties in the area to boost sales. During his tenure, he consistently exceeded sales goals and generated more than $10 million in revenue.
Prior to the Hilton San Diego, Cirelli served as Senior Sales Manager at Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City, where he topped all sales goals, including double-digit increases in group bookings and group room revenue. Before Hilton, Cirelli launched his career at the Hyatt Regency Orange County where he consistently surpassed quarterly and yearly sales targets.
In his free time, Lou enjoys traveling to new places, exploring San Diego and spending time with family and friends.
This spring, Kona Kai Resort & Spa will launch a complete new expansion of the property featuring 41 new luxury suites, Marina View Lawn event space with views of the Kona Kai Marina, and the Paloma Lounge with a new adult-only pool and bar.
