USA, Middleburg, Virginia. March 05, 2018

Salamander Hotels & Resorts - the luxury management company founded by Sheila C. Johnson - has appointed Ty Brassie as Director of Sales & Marketing to Hammock Beach Resort, northeast Florida's premier oceanfront destination located in Palm Coast. In his new role, Brassie will oversee the property's sales and marketing strategies - driving business, revenue and overall brand awareness to the resort.

As a veteran with more than two decades of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Brassie brings with him a rich background in management, leadership and sales excellence. Most recently, Brassie spent over two years at Carneros Resort and Spa in Napa, California, and Warner Center Marriott Hotel, Los Angeles, California, where he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Prior to this, Brassie served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at five resort properties in numerous travel destinations such as Palm Springs, CA, Fort Lauderdale, FL and Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - making him a well-versed hospitality professional.

“It is a great pleasure to welcome Ty to Hammock Beach Resort,” says John Annicchiarico, Salamander's Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “His skill set and understanding of the luxury hospitality market, as well as contagious enthusiasm, will make him a great addition to the team.”

Brassie is an active member in various professional organizations, including the American Society of Association Executives and Meeting Professionals International. As a proud Michigan State alum, Brassie enjoys cheering on the Spartans and golfing under the Florida sun.

Situated just south of historic St. Augustine, the all-suite Hammock Beach Resort delivers an unspoiled haven overlooking two miles of pristine Atlantic shoreline. Including numerous recent renovations and presenting true luxury nestled among nature, the resort offers an upscale escape surrounded by scenes of Old Florida, with more than 300 spacious accommodations, including a 12-story tower of luxury suites.
