Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel Appoints Gilles Rebmann as General Manager
The Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel announces the appointment of Gilles Rebmann as the hotel's new General Manager. In this role, Rebmann will oversee the day-to-day operations and staff of the 348-room hotel at 35th Street and Seventh Avenue, which opened in March 2016, and is the flagship of the Renaissance brand.
Gilles has extensive experience in the New York hospitality industry, his most recent role includes General Manager of the 149-room Triumph Hotels' Hotel Chandler in Midtown Manhattan. Prior to this position, he was Hotel Manager at the 480-room Novotel New York, also located in Midtown Manhattan. Before moving to New York, Rebmann worked in his native Quèbec at the Novotel Montreal Airport Hotel.

Gilles attended the Institute de Tourisme et d'Hotellerie du Quèbec in Montreal. He currently resides in New Jersey and in his spare time enjoys playing sports and spending time with his wife and three children.
