Home-Towne Adds Dallas To Portfolio
Michael Tetterton announces a new addition to the Home Towne Suites hotel portfolio.
SEPTEMBER 14, 2006. The growing extended stay company will now manage the lodging facility for Werner Enterprises' Dallas Terminal. Werner is among the five largest truckload carriers in the United States and maintains its headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.
HTS will manage the property used to house Werner trainees and employees, making this venture the company's first dormitory only management contract. The Home-Towne portfolio now includes 8 extended-stay properties branded Home-Towne Suites and 3 managed hotels. The managed hotels include, Ashley Quarters - Florence, KY, and two hotels managed for the trucking industry, Home-Towne Lodge - Hammond, IN and Werner Lodging - Dallas, TX.
Home-Towne Suites is a chain of residential studios specializing in long term stays and designed especially for the business traveler by offering spacious apartment style suites at a fraction of the cost of normal hotel rooms.
