Rezidor Announces New Park Inns to Open In Sweden and UK
FEBRUARY 7, 2007. The Rezidor Hotel Group, the Brussels-based hotel management company, has signed agreements for two new Park Inn hotels to open in Stockholm, Sweden and Leigh, Great Britain.
The new Park Inn hotel in Stockholm in slated to open in 2009, and will be the seventeenth Park Inn in Sweden. The new hotel will be built in Hammarby Sjostad, one of the most rapidly growing areas in the city, and will offer a rooftop terrace and a relaxation center on the top floor of the hotel. The owner and developer of the new property is Botrygg AB.
The Park Inn Leigh, slated to open in 2008, will offer 135 guestrooms, a restaurant and bar, spa and relaxation facilities, as well as meeting and conference space. The new hotel will be built on the M6 motorway between Liverpool and Manchester, as part of the new Leigh Sports Village for sports education, training programs and corporate meetings and events.
