MELBOURNE, Australia, September 6, 2006. Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau (MCVB) is launching its 06/07 Melbourne Planner's Guide online. It is the second year that MCVB has published the Planner's Guide electronically.
"After an extremely positive response last year from national and international PCOs, association and corporate users we decided it was imperative to ensure the latest information was made available online again," said MCVB's general manager marketing, Trish Finnemore.
"Research conducted late last year in international markets found that meeting planners and event organisers are looking for detailed and specific information from websites that will help them in the decision making process. By providing our comprehensive Planner's Guide online, we are able to better facilitate their decision to choose Melbourne for their next event.
The new electronic Planner's Guide features all the information contained in the print edition including information on venues, accommodation and services, an incentive section, touring information, train and tram network maps and Melbourne's most talked about entertainment, dining and shopping spots.
