Belize Tourism Board Appoints the Zimmerman Agency as Its Marketing Communications Firm Agency of Record in the U.S.
Belize Tourism Board (BTB), the official tourism marketing organization for Belize, has appointed The Zimmerman Agency as its marketing communications firm of record beginning April 1, 2020. The Zimmerman Agency was chosen from a select number of firms that responded to a request for proposal in January 2020, followed by finalist presentations in late February 2020.
"We're thrilled to announce our partnership with The Zimmerman Agency, a renowned agency and longtime champion of tourism and economic development, to accelerate our marketing efforts and strengthen our marketing program, both in traditional and new media," said BTB Director of Tourism Karen Bevans "Through this new partnership, we will expand awareness of Belize's abundant offerings and desirable lifestyle in the United States, and look forward to welcoming visitors back, once it's safe to travel, with open arms."
The Zimmerman Agency has been retained to handle integrated marketing efforts including: advertising, content marketing, public relations, and digital communications in the U.S. The firm will also support BTB's efforts to enhance relationships with the travel trade.
