Vision Hospitality Group Breaks Ground on AC Hotel in North Atlanta’s Perimeter Center

AC Hotels by Marriott® and Chattanooga-based Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. announced the AC Hotel in North Atlanta's Perimeter Center has broken ground. The design-driven lifestyle hotel is slated to open in 2021 and will feature 156 guest rooms, engaging communal spaces and the area's first rooftop bar boasting panoramic views of the Atlanta skyline.

AC Hotel Atlanta Perimeter Center will include a curated collection of artwork and modern design elements utilizing subtle tones and crisp, clean lines. The thoughtfully designed property will offer an inviting ambiance with contemporary styling to provide an elevated guest experience with anticipatory service and expertly executed amenities.

The modern guest rooms will cater to savvy business travelers and offer sleek furnishings, an open closet system, elegant art and hardwood floors. The AC Library will provide a quiet space for guests, complete with ambient lighting and a collection of inspiring novels selected by guest curators, while the buzzing AC Lounge will provide a collaborative work space by day and gathering place by night. Purposely designed for creativity and connection, the AC Lounge will be located on the seventh floor.

As one of two food and beverage experiences, the rooftop bar will be open year-round for guests and locals alike and will feature tapas-style small bites, artisanal cocktails, local craft beers and specialty wines. On the first floor, the brand's signature AC Kitchen will invite guests each morning to savor the day with a proper continental breakfast selection of flaky croissants, savory egg tarts, freshly sliced Iberico prosciutto and Nespresso coffee.

Intuitive service and signature amenities will encourage guests to work, explore and socialize at the AC Hotel Atlanta Perimeter Center. Kallpods, wireless service buttons, will be provided throughout the hotel to better engage and meet the needs of guest requests. Additional amenities will include a state-of-the-art fitness center and an AC Market featuring locally sourced items for on-the-go.

The new AC Hotel Atlanta Perimeter Center will be conveniently located off of GA 400 and I-285 at 121 Perimeter Center West and within walking distance to the Perimeter Center Mall, North Atlanta's premier shopping destination. The hotel will also be positioned between major companies including State Farm, UPS, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Mercedes Benz USA.

Food & Beverage: New Technological Innovations

In the past few years, hotel food and beverage departments have experienced significant growth. Managers are realizing just how much revenue potential this sector holds, both in terms of additional revenue and as a means to enhance the guest experience. In-room, on-screen menus allow guests to order from any restaurant on the property, and some hotels are partnering with delivery companies that make it possible for guests to order food from any restaurant in the area. Also, many hotels are implementing in-room, voice-activated devices, so ordering food via an AI-powered assistant will soon become mainstream as well.
