The Hilton Miami Dadeland, a full service 184-room hotel set to open in February on the Baptist Hospital campus in Miami, proudly announced it has hired Rosa Albert as its Director of Sales and Marketing. Albert has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and will be responsible for marketing, planning and implementing sales, and overseeing product development programs for the Hilton Miami Dadeland.

Albert brings both branded and independent hotel experience with leadership roles in the opening of the B2 Hotel in downtown Miami, the Hyatt Miami at The Blue in Doral and overseeing the executive meeting center at the Sheraton Miami Airport, which was accredited by the International Association of Conference Centers. As the Associate Director of Sales for the Sheraton Miami Airport, Albert led her team to such awards as the Best EMC opening and Hotel of the Year.

“Rosa not only brings a stellar track record of sales experience here in the Miami market, but she is a dynamic team leader. She brings a tenacious, relentless and resilient attitude to always exceed expectations and we look forward to her being a main catalyst to the success of the trendiest new hotel in Dadeland,” said James Shandor, General Manager for the Hilton Miami Dadeland.

Albert grew up in Lima, Peru and has a degree in Hospitality Business from Columbia College. She credits her father as her mentor, as he spent over 50 years in the hospitality industry. She started her career working at the five-star Harbor Court Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.

“It's an incredible honor to be part of an all-star team that will launch a hotel that will be a major game changer in Miami. This tremendous opportunity is so exciting as I join a family dedicated to the utmost in quality design and luxurious experiences,” added Albert.

Upon opening, the Hilton Miami Dadeland will be operated by Interstate Hotels & Resorts, the leading global hotel management company.
